The Sock!t Social media web app is a platform designed for social engagement focused on polling. With a user base of companies, groups and individuals, the web app enabled users to post polls from any device and analytical tools to gain insights into the results of their polls.
We lead the creation of brand guidelines, digital assets, alongside the wire framing, design and development of the platform’s web application.

Starting with concept development workshops, we took the Sock!t than through the design journey, ensuring the concepts and designs delivered on the teams requirements. Developing brand guidelines, wireframes and data architecture the platform was optimised to share video and image based polls.
Backend development using NodeJS, scalable relational databases and APIs to deliver a highly responsive infrastructure that could support a large user base. The well defined and typed backend gave the platform a robust and easy to expand code base.
Frontend development using React, we build a component set tailored to designed user experiences. Using sounds, a flexible scoring system, and user engagement through comments and likes, the front delivered on a highly responsive and fun experience that encourage user participation.
